Police Seize American University Students Fake Id Cards

Students studying at the University of Georgia USA are it a bit of trouble after an investigation in to the supply and use of fake identification cards. Hundreds of the University students have been contacted by police and given the option to either hand their fake ID card in to the campus police or they could face criminal charges if they fail to cooperate. The University of Georgia"s Police Chief Jimmy Williams confirmed that this is the largest fake ID ring to be busted on an American University campus. He also stated that a large fake identity card manufacturing operation had been uncovered.

The gang had been producing a number of fake identity cards including fake national identity cards and somekeyword. The students have been encouraged to hand over their fake drivers licences and sign a police form. The students that are choosing to cooperate with the police will not face any criminal charges against them. The University of Georgia police have so far seized over 300 hundred fake ID cards ranging from fake drivers licences to fake national identity cards. Thanks to the students cooperation the campus police are able to build a good case against the fake ID manufacturers.

There are three fake identity card manufacturers operating on the University of Georgia campus with around 60 people distributing the fake ID cards. It is thought that over one thousand six hundred students have purchased fake identity cards from the gangs. One of the fake ID manufactures had records on his computer of all the students who had purchased fake ID cards. The police have seized all of the computers and hard drives as evidence. Stupidly the fake ID manufacturers have left a trail of exactly who has purchased a fake identity card from the university.

A large number of the students surrendered their fake ID cards to the police while others didn"t. The students that failed to cooperate received a visit from police officers and were asked to hand over their fake drivers licence. The students were not arrested but it certainly scared them. Other students received phone calls from the police department but assumed it was a prank and still failed to surrender their fake identity cards. The students who have failed to cooperate with the University of Georgia police will be arrested and charged when the investigation is over. One of the reasons many students are reluctant to hand over their fake ID cards is due to it costing them $100.
