Bankruptcy May Not Be the Solution for You

Bankruptcy is an extremely powerful debt relief mechanism that will immediately stop all creditor calls, collection harassments, collection activity, paycheck and wage garnishment, automobile or other personal property repossession. It will also postpone or end all foreclosure proceedings on your home, and will usually eliminate most of your debts while giving you a fresh start in life. Bankruptcy is the dawn of a new day. The weight of the debts incurred prior to bankruptcy will be gone, leaving you free to start anew.

Bankruptcy is not the best option for everyone. Our aim is not to try to convince you to file bankruptcy! We will take the time necessary to explain all of your available options and then help you find the best option that suits your individual needs.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is frequently called a "fresh start" or "liquidation bankruptcy". Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is a fresh start bankruptcy because that is what you receive...a fresh start. With the exception of certain non-dis-chargeable debts, most of your debt is discharged (erased) in a Chapter 7.

A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Is Often a Viable Option

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is a great option several reasons. Similar to a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy also stops creditor harassment, garnishments, foreclosures and other attempts to collect debt.

You are completely right. Bankruptcy isn't for everyone. I know that for most people they don't know what is best for them. They first of all don't know if bankruptcy is for them or not. They also do not know which bankruptcy makes the most sense for them. If you can find someone who is an expert at bankruptcy law you then you will be much better off. Getting their opinion or help with do lots for you.
