There are other expenses that may or may not be deductible from your taxes that are not listed here. This list will give you a start in understanding the kinds of expenses that the IRS will disallow. You need to understand that any irregularities in your tax return could trigger a full-scale audit, so it is best to be as honest as possible when claiming any moving-related expenses on your tax return. It is always advisable for you to consult with a tax attorney when it comes time to file your taxes the first time after you move just to make sure you are doing everything correctly and that you will get the most deductions possible.
